Golden Milk Spice Mix
Traditionally golden milk is a blend of turmeric, ginger, and black pepper. Good Thyme Wellness adds cinnamon to the mix, rendering this spicy blend just a touch sweeter than your average golden milk (simply because cinnamon is sweet by nature, there are no added sweeteners in this blend). To prepare, warm 1 cup of milk (I prefer oat milk or a non-dairy option), whisk 1tsp Golden Milk Mix into the warmed milk, and add (preferably local) honey to taste.
Turmeric has long been praised for its anti-inflammatory benefits, these are attributed to the constituent curcumin which is more readily processed by the body in conjunction with black pepper. Ginger is warming, comforting, and helps to distribute the formula quickly throughout your body- it also is a digestive aid making this a wonderful after-meal treat. Cinnamon has been known to possess antiviral qualities; its presence in this blend rounds out the flavor and intention of the mix as a delicious health tonic.
Beyond golden milk, this spice blend is great for cooking! Sprinkle it over your oatmeal, or enjoy it with a tropical fruit salad or smoothie!
This mix is packaged in a 7oz "yogurt jar" with a cork closure.

Additional Information
This preparation was made with dried powdered herbs. Store the glass bottle out of light and excessive heat, the formula will remain potent for up to 2 years, though to maximize the herbal energetics I recommend using the blend within the first year of purchase.
